This is where I was born. Beautiful Bogotá. This is a view from the northern part of the city. The Eastern Cordillera forms the eastern border of the city. It’s the second highest capital city in the world and you can certainly feel it, coming from the flat, sea-level Midwest!
This is where I lived for two months. Sort of. It’s called FANA. I stayed at the Old FANA. The new FANA was built somewhat recently and it’s a gorgeous facility. Check it out: http://www.fundacionfana.org/
This is where I grew up. A town in North Iowa. It’s a pretty little, lake town. Lots of fun activities going on all year. This sunset caught my eye the last week of November 2012. Soooo pretty! I’ve moved away now, but it will always be home.
